Even though the idea of seeing and believing in a ghost may seem absurd, most people during Shakespeare’s time did believe in them. For us, it’s like the idea of a UFO. Do you believe in the supernatural? Have you or anyone you have known ever seen or claimed to have witnessed some kind of supernatural being? Explain the circumstances surrounding it.

Answering this question with just one simple answer is impossible becuase behind the question there are a million responses. I have never encountered a ghost face to face or any kind of supernatural being. But I do have family members which have told me a lot of stories with intense detail about ghosts. Some swear that they have seen them, and others swear that they could just feel a weird and creepy vibe surrounding them. I personally cannot answer the question becuase I have never witnessed a supernatural being, but what I can say is that if I ever do come face to face with one, I will then believe in them...

I don’t believe on the idea of UFO, but I do believe in spirits and lost souls. I’ve known and heard stories of many trustworthy people and I don’t think that this is coincidence. I myself also think I’ve seen weird stuff, but I'm not that sure since fear sometimes can alter your mind. It makes me scared but I guess there is a reason for this events to happen and if these spirits haven’t leave this world, probably they have a duty not yet accomplished so they can't rest in peace.
I really don’t believe in the existence or the idea of UFO. But I do believe there are people who are able to see spirits. I think people who are able to see spirits are special persons because I don’t think everyone has this ability. I have never seen any spirits and I wish never to see them because I don’t think I could deal with the impact. I also can’t understand why they could appear, or what are they trying to make people understand. Even though I can’t understand this I am sure they have something to do here and that is why they are not completely gone. I have a cousin who is able to see spirits and when he was younger he saw them frequently.

I believe that the energy of a person cannot just disappear when they die. Some sort of vibe is left behind and that causes situations that involve feeling a certain vibe/energy or even see things. Personally I have never had an encounter with a spirit or ghost and hope I never do. My sister, who is six now, made some weird comments when she was younger and asked why three men where in her room, which was kind of creepy. So yes, I do believe that the energy and spirit of the dead can remain in this world.

I don't believe in ghosts or in the supernatural things because I have never experieced such a thing. I have never seen a ghost, but a lot of family members have told me that they do believe and they have seen ghosts. If I have never seen one I don't and never will believe until I see one, then I will believe and get scared.

At Shakespeare´s time it seems logical that people belived in ghosts, simply because there wasn´t much to do. I think that at that time, what people claimed to be ghosts was simply a mind trick, nurtured by alcohol and fairy tales. In my case, I have never experienced anything unnatural and no one in my family has ever experience anything of that kind. Even though I don´t believe in it, I think it is better not to try to find about it because if it were to be true, I can assure it would be something to be terrified of.

ReplyDeleteI’ve never seen a ghost itself and I don’t believe in UFO. But I do believe in the spirits and that people are able to see them or at least feel them. During the summer I go to a hacienda that was built before the Mexican Revolution. There are many stories of people who lived and died in this place and many other stories of people who have seen spirits, most of them children. I know people that have seen these spirits and I do believe there are there for a reason.
Even though I've never seen or experienced anything supernatural, I belive such things exist. Various people from my family have claimed to have seen a family member that has passed away. I believe some people have the capability to feel the presence of a ghost or a spirit. But who knows, maybe these feelings are just a trick of your mind making you see things, or maybe not. Until somebody proves the existence or non-existence of a ghost or spirit (or UFO), one can never be certain that they do or do not exist, so you have to stay with the doubt. You must always think there might be a possibility of existence. Even though it may seem logical that they could imagine seeing a deceased family member due to melancholy, there's times where these events are too real to be imagined. For example, the husband of an aunt died 5 years ago. My 4-year old cousin never met him, but every time she goes to my aunt's house she claims to see "the man in the picture" (and points at a picture with the husband of my aunt), which makes me believe there is a reason for those spirits to appear and to be seen by the people who see them.

I don´t believe in UFO, but I do believe in spirits. I believe in spirits but I have never experience the appereance of a ghost. In a ranch that my family have in a town near Guadalajara the workers said that a spirit of a small man appears in the house of the ranch. That they have seen it many times, that the spirit doesn´t talk that it only walks in the house. In that town they are many stories of spirits that had apper to people. I certainly think that maybe it is true but who knows nobody has porve it.

ReplyDeleteI believe in souls that are not able to leave this world for some reason. I have heard a lot of people say they have seen a ghost or present weird stuff. I don't know if i have since i still wounder if it's because of fear that you presence the supernatural (sences more alert) or if it's the fear that plays with us. I would go more with the idea that you presence the supernatural because your sences are more alert when you are afraid, angry, nervous, etc.
Many years ago (my grandmother was not married yet) my great grandmother was throwing a small welcoming part at her house. She needed help from her daughters, and she was calling on one of them. She couldn't find her, so she went to a balcony inside the house to see if she was on the first floor. What she saw next was a girl dressed all white. The girl turned to see my great grandmother, but didn't answer when my great grandmother asked her who she was. She went inside the kitchen. My great grandmother immeaditelly went to the kitchen (there was no other way out of the kitchen) but the girl was no longer there.
My great grandmother went to her neighbor's house to tell them abou the welcoming party and to see if they wanted to go. Then she saw a picture of the same girl that was at her house. She asked her neighbor who the girl was because she had seen her inside her house. Her neighbor said she was his daughter who had died a couple of weeks ago.

ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as the supernatural. I dont believe in it, it doesnt exist. The idea of seeing or hearing a ghost, a UFO, a spirit or anything similar is only a phsycological thing. When people tell stories when they see a ghost they just want the attention of everyone. Some people see those supernatural things, well yeah.. they are crazy.

ReplyDeleteI beleive that there is negative and positive energy which makes itself real in strange circumstances. Its something similar to walls shouting. Let me explain, when a person shouts in a negative way again and again and again in their houses the walls record a couple of this events and may shout 50 years later the same thing with the same strenght, i guess ghosts are something like that if they even exist. I try to leave my mind open to new ideas even if i need to see what it is in order to beleive in it. I had never witnessed any ghost appearance, but ive witnessed a couple unexplainable things such as footsteps in the roof in my own house when there isint anybody there. I also think that some poeple invent they saw something supernatural because they seek atention but some others speak the truth.

ReplyDeleteI personally dont believe so much in a supernatural world i have heard many stories of ghosts and spirits but i just dont believe them. The UFO´s aren´t a supernatural world i think they are more like a different specie that lives somewhere on the Universe. I dont think we are the only ones living in this huge space. I also believe on a different specie on the outer space cause we have some evidence in our pasts, All the traces and technics used by the Mayan people have many strange things that really make you think how could they or how did they predict all what has happen.The supernatural world of ghost and spirits is something that we create in our minds and i dont think there is such a thing as them.

I dont believe in the supernatural or ghost. I have never experienced or seen something abnormal.From my friends and family I have never heard anything about ghost appearing in their houses although there is a tv shoe in discovery channel about families living with spirits that used to live in their houses many years ago.
i believe in the supernatural things because i know some peoples that have seen supernatural stuff while they were playing wiji board. They were really into the game and they were seeing and hearing stuff moving. After spending sometime playing they witness an exorcism. One of my uncles had a spirit inside him and started talking and moving in a wiered way. They needed to bring a priest to take the bad spirit out from his body. They told him that the bad spirits are being bullied while you are playing the wiji board and thats why he got the exorcism.

I do believe in the supernatural. With so much folklore and stories, some of it has got to be true, or be rooted in truth anyways. Some sort of spirits have got to exist. AS far as UFOs and aliens go, I think that it's partly true. I'm sure there is life on other planets, even if it's only just very simple. Nevertheless, I do think there might be some truth behind little green men. There are many people who claim encounters and, of course, much of this is probably just people going nuts. Still, I think the government hiding so much about Roswell is definitely fishy. It's such a remote area and the govt. is making a great effort to hide something they don't want people to know.

I personally do berlieve in there being spirits or ghosts. I have not witnessened any signs of them but I have a close friend who was sleeping in her bed and suddenly she saw a friend of her's standing in the door. The next day she found out tht friend had drowned and died in a lake near her house.
